Our Story

Reeve means 'to pass through,' and Conte means 'short story.'

Reeve Conte is like a thread that passes through and connects different stories in the form of jewellery. We believe that jewellery is not just an aesthetic piece, but a silent storyteller—a medium for conveying stories and messages.

Our mission

is to create jewellery that strengthens the bond between the giver, the receiver, and yourself, making each piece a unique expression of the wearer’s journey. Inspired by diverse stories from people of all cultural backgrounds, races, and personalities, we celebrate individuality and connection through our designs.

About Us

Award-winning designer and Jeweller, Rachel Chung graduated from the School of Jewellery at Birmingham City University, where she refined her expertise in a variety of jewellery-making techniques. She uses jewellery as a medium to capture unique stories from diverse backgrounds, aiming to deepen the connection between the giver and receiver, as well as foster a connection with one's inner self to embrace self-compassion.

Rachel believes that each piece of jewellery should not only possess aesthetic appeal but also convey a message or tell a story for the wearer. Her designs are inspired by and respond to social phenomena, including gender identity and gender stereotypes towards jewellery. Embracing a gender-neutral approach, her creations challenge conventional stereotypes and cater to all genders.

The designer is fascinated by the concept of multipurpose products in daily life and seeks to integrate this idea into her designs. Pieces are crafted to serve multiple functions, offering wearers the versatility of different looks from a single item.

By utilising the same amount of material to create multiple styles, her designs challenge the fast-fashion cycle, providing excitement and variety without the need for constant consumption. This approach fosters sustainability and affordability. Rachel’s vision is to create versatile, timeless pieces that can adapt to various styles and uses, for individuals of all genders.
